# Use more than one account

Keep work and personal separate, and switch between them in a tap.

Source: https://kairo.jaimansoni.com/support/accounts
Section: Privacy & account

## Pick your avatar

Open your profile and tap the little pencil on your picture. Seven choices appear: your Google photo, and six hand-drawn animals. Whichever you pick is what everyone sees, in shared lists and on assignments too.

> **Note:** No Google photo? Kairo assigns you one of the animals automatically, the same one every time.

## Add another account

1. Open your profile and find **Accounts**.
2. Click **+ Add another account**.
3. Sign in with the other Google account.

> **Heads up:** Five accounts is the limit for one browser. Adding a sixth quietly signs out the one you added first, no warning, so keep the roster tidy.

## Switch between them

Tap any account in the list. Kairo reloads straight into that account's tasks, lists, and settings, no re-login.

## Locks and switching

- Each account keeps its own [lock state](https://kairo.jaimansoni.com/support/locks). Unlocking one never unlocks another.
- Switching to an account with an app lock lands you on its PIN screen, and its data never flashes on screen first.
- From a lock screen you can switch to another account without unlocking the locked one.
- Focus timers and notification settings are per account too.

## Signing out

**Sign out of this account** removes only the current one. If others are still signed in, you land in the first account on your list; sign out of the last and you return to the landing page. There's no “sign out everywhere” button, sign out once per account.
