# Remind me at a specific time

Set a one-off reminder on any task. It skips itself if the task is already done by then.

## Set a reminder

1. Open the task and expand **Reminder**.
2. Pick a quick option, **In 1 hour**, **In 3 hours**, **Evening 18:00**, **Tomorrow 9:00**, or choose an exact date and time.

You'll see a confirmation like `🔔 Tomorrow 09:00`, and the task card carries a 🔔 chip so pending reminders are visible at a glance.

> **Good to know:** If the task already has a [time of day](https://kairo.jaimansoni.com/support/times), there's a one-tap **Remind me at this time** button in the Planned day section.

## How reminders behave

- They arrive even if Kairo is closed and your phone is locked.
- **A reminder for something you've already done never fires.** Completing or deleting the task cancels it, and Kairo double-checks at send time.
- Setting a new time replaces the old one, there's one reminder per task.
- Reminders can be set up to 30 days ahead, and must be at least a moment in the future.
- Completing a [repeating task](https://kairo.jaimansoni.com/support/recurring) clears its reminder, since it belonged to that occurrence.

## Requirements

Reminders are push notifications, so they need [notifications turned on](https://kairo.jaimansoni.com/support/notifications). If they aren't yet, setting a reminder will ask.
