# Share a task, or send a copy

Put people on one live task the way you'd invite guests to a calendar event, or hand someone their own independent copy.

## Put people on a task

1. Open a task's **⋯** menu and choose **Share**.
2. Add people by email, anyone already on the task can add more, like guests on a calendar invite.
3. Everyone now sees the same live task. Edits sync, and when anyone finishes it, it's done for everyone.

A shared task shows a small 👥 count on its row. The owner can remove anyone from the People sheet; everyone else can leave whenever they like, and leaving (or choosing Let it go) removes the task from your world without touching the owner's.

**Send a copy** lives inside the same Share sheet. The copy lands in their Inbox marked `↪ from your name`, carrying the title, notes, deadline, estimate, and step titles (unticked). ## They don't need an account

> **Note:** Either way, the recipient doesn't need Kairo yet: a new address gets an invite email with a one-click sign-in link, and the task is already waiting inside. Existing accounts get an email, and a notification if they've turned those on.
