The setup that works: Google Calendar stays the source of truth for meetings and appointments, and an AI planner owns the tasks, what you will actually do between those meetings. Kairo fills the task side with plain-English AI capture and a monthly planning calendar. Full honesty up front: Kairo does not sync with Google Calendar yet. The integration is on the roadmap and the button in the app says "coming soon". Calendar for commitments, planner for choices
Google Calendar is excellent at commitments: things with a fixed time involving other people. It is famously bad as a to-do list, tasks pasted into the grid get moved, shrunk, and eventually ignored. The division of labor that survives is simple.

Where Kairo's calendar sync stands
Kairo has its own monthly calendar of your planned days, and a Google Calendar sync is planned. We would rather say "not yet" here than let you discover it after signing up. When it ships, the model above stays the same, your meetings will simply appear alongside your planned tasks.
