Plan the week and month

The Calendar has two views: a month grid for the bigger picture, and a seven-day spread for sketching the week.

Month view

The Calendar opens on a full month grid, Monday-first, with today circled.

  • Desktop: each day shows up to three task chips, plus +2 more when there are extras.
  • Mobile: each day shows coloured dots instead, so the grid stays readable.
  • Click any day to open its detail panel, the full task list, planned steps, what's done, and an add row for that date.
  • Drag chips between days to reschedule.

Week view

Switch to Week with the toggle in the header, Kairo remembers your choice. It lists the next seven days, each with its own tasks, load estimate and add row. Your Inbox sits alongside so you can pull work into days.

  • Drag a task from the Inbox onto a day to plan it (desktop).
  • Type into any day's add row to create something there directly.
  • Days further out than a week collect under Further out.

Colours and the legend

Each list gets its own colour, and the dots and chips wear it. Below the grid, a legend spells out which colour is which list, plus two fixed meanings: green is done, and a grey dot means no list. A gold ✦ marks Spotlight tasks.

Load per day

Each day shows the total of its estimates, so an overloaded Thursday is visible days before it hurts. In the month grid, days over six hours are highlighted.
