Repeat a task

Daily, weekly on chosen days, or monthly, a repeating task is one card that rolls forward as you complete it.

WeeklyAny combination of weekdays (at least one)
MonthlyA day of the month, 1–31

What completing one does

A repeating task is a single card, not a pre-generated pile. When you complete it, two things happen:

  1. 1A finished copy is written to Done today and your Log, so your history stays honest.
  2. 2The card itself rolls forward to the next occurrence, with the star cleared, the carry count reset, and every step unticked for a fresh round.

You'll see a small confirmation: ↻ Next: Thursday.

Missing one

In the morning sweep, repeating tasks get their own options: Today, Did it, and Skip. Skip jumps to the next occurrence with no penalty, and crucially, *Let go* and *Someday* aren't offered, so a bad week can't silently delete a habit.

To end a series for good, delete the task from its ⋯ menu or the editor, or set Repeat back to Never.
